Had a great time walking down memory lane with Vish Khanna chatting about recording and mixing Pavement’s “Brighten The Corners”
Check out his podcast
Forgot to post about all the amazing folks who kept Trout Recording busy and full of great sounds this past spring and summer. Thanks Cuddle Magic, Amy Helm, Stephen Solins, Empire Circus, Eugene Hutz of Gogo Bordello, Jeff Nimeh, CLove Detectives, Joan As Policewoman & Lau. Struck also by the fact that two of these wonderful artists are highly accomplished visual artists as well. Check links above to see which!
Looking forward to getting Coyote Union in to the studio next month.
2012 has started off with a bang. David Sylvian and Joan Wasser have cut 10 tracks for an upcoming record. Chicha Libre has completed mixing on their second LP. Trey Anastasio and I cut 20 songs for his HOHB project. Valley Young started their record with Parker on Skins and Royston Langdon on bass. Adam is close to completing work on the new Hollands LP.
